Hi all
due to my wife not being to well of late we have been invited over to the States to get away from it all so to speak for awhile. We have good friends in New Jersey where we are spending about 14 days and a week in Tuscon Arizona. If anyone knows of any great garden railways that may be open for viewing please let me know.
Nice warm weather here I come , although knowing my luck it will rain.......in Arizona!!! If it does......blame the Brits.

One of those great garden railways is located in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. If you are close enough contact me.
 
I do not know when you are off to the USA but I can also recommend the Tucson Society. We stay with friends at the address below. They will be away soon as we are meeting up with them at the Garden Railway Convention in St Charles, Illinois. I visited many layouts in Tucson during their tours. Excellent.

If you can get up to Phoenix? Try and get in touch with Dennis Serine. His layout is incredible. He has more rolling stock and loco's than any other RR I have visited.......
The scenery is of park standard.

Rod is right, well worth a visit, don`t know what the food is like in his restaurant. Since Rod and I were there,(we never met until we returned home) I think he has opened up into another paddock.

Im about an 1.5 hours north of their. My layout is open just send me an e-mail. Aug 11-12 our county fair will have a live steam running for their hobby weekend. My buddy runs it and I will be helping.
