Not a disaster movie - but only because I had briefly stopped filming when a
gust of wind blew the sublects of my recent Garden Rail articles off the track
over a 2ft drop! That's two locomotives and all my 7/8ths rolling stock, plummeting to the earth.
Well I say plummeting, but it seemed to me like slow motion - and amazingly
there was not even a scratch. It did take us ten minutes to find Millie's dome
among the ivy though.....
So this week's film is double headed 7/8ths on Roy Wood's HWLR. It is on my
website news page, where there are various other snippets of news including a
Chuffer for the K-36 and info about scans of the first two Garden Rail articles,
by kind permission of Atlantic Publishers.
You can see it at:
http://www.summerlands-chuffer.co.uk/#/chuffer-news/4535137012
and on my Youtube Summerlandsteam channel as usual. And here is a pre-disaster
photo for those not inclined to videos.
Cheers
