Pictures of longish trains don't come out too well on the small screen, but here's an attempt anyway.

How would you do it?

Looks pretty good to me as well..... when I wanted to put up a wider/sharper pic myself, I cut the original into two halves (in Paint Shop software) saved them to my PC as two newly named images and posted the separate left & right images alongside each other ( :image1: :image2: ) sort of thing :nerd:

Regards

Nice shot Hamish is that a Rio Grande Mallet i see very nice

Thanks for the kind words, chaps!

I took the first shot, above, from some distance away, using the zoom (150mm) to foreshorten the view.

Richie, what sharp eyes you have!
Nearly right - here's a wide angle (24mm) view from the sharp end -
Rule 8 applies very much to this consist.

...Can't wait to get mine back...

Back from where? (if I may be so bold as to ask...)

Had a look at your cab ride video.
Love the layout!
How long is the circuit?

Hamish.
My Sumpter Valley Mallet is with a certain retailer in South Wales having a decoder fitted.

The longest loop is approximatley 250ft, there is also a shorter loop of about 100ft. Glad you liked the video:bigsmile:
