New to the forum- Been running my garden train for a couple of years.

Hello all from NE Illinois. I took on this task about three years ago when I realized my back yard needed something to do. Small area but I've been able to cram a few things into it. I guess as with everyone else in the hobby, it is a continual process of changes, adding and rebuilding. This year I hope to add a back and forth trolley line with a twist, as well as a magnarail type ski hill. Oh, so much to do. I look forward to some helpful suggestions as I may need it for the next season.

Welcome indeed, as the others have pointed out there is an awful lot of good advice but it is countered by an awful lot of silliness. Personally I am intrigued about your magnarail ski track. Do keep us informed and above alll photograpic evidence, both of the planning, building and final result.
