I set up a temporary track around the, currently, empty fish pond today. Friends were bringing their grandkid, who wanted to see the trains run. I gave him a chance to run them.

Catch 'em young! :):clap::clap:

I am sure your young visitor had a great time??
I always try to have 'something' that youngsters can have a go with. - I have a RC starte-set diesel which will run at a reasonable pace, but not fast enough to fall-off on the corners, even flat-out.. Let them run the likes of that, and it doesn't matter if there is a coming together. Though do try to avoid that!

Most are very well behaved, and just enjoy 'playing trains'.. :):)
