The management of the Upper Quinton Line are pleased to announce the introduction of a new open car. It started life as a BAchmann boxcar which was kindly donated to the line. As it is still winter the car was on test today at Kirtley Works. The men on board are engineers not passengers.

Lovely stuff. I hope to find myself a centre cab from somewhere eventually. I want to make or bash one to represent this engine I saw about 4 years agon in Mt Dora.

All the best Clive

You might do well to start with a Bachmann diesel and cut it down, Clive.

They were going cheap a while ago, but be warned, they're modelled at 1:20.3 and because the prototype was a re-gauged standard gauge jobbie, they're pretty huge :banghead:

Agree there - don't even bother to run mine, thinking of selling it as I haven't run it for over a year now

I was quite pleased with the first coach so I built a second one.
Total costs - box cars £25 for 1 plus 1 given to me as it had a brocken roof
paint - £12
People - £18

So thats £55 for the 2.

Here they are in my garden

These coaches have got around a lot considering they are new. Here they are on a new railway somewhere in Shropshire not very far from the Back2bay6 shop.

This railway in Shropshire is very much under development at the moment. Here are a few more photos taken today.
Looks like Rule 8 is alive and well
