New bridge on the West Well

maxi-model

Just installed the first of two MVL built bridges on my line. Wood decking non standard addition. Painted by West Well's own MOW crew - rattle can Peugeot Conifer over U-Pol Etch primer. Nice aluminium construction with brass nut/bolt fastenings, galvanized steel chord railings. It replaced life expired wooden "plank" type bridge. Railway staff will engage in extensive gauging trials today.

This is the link I use, I hope it works for you Ross. http://www.mvlbridges.co.uk/ . I saw their products at the 16mm annual show this year and thought they looked the biz. This is one of their most basic designs and the cost seemed reasonable. Seems petty strong with no sign of deflection when the K-27 went over it. Thanks for all the nice comments. Makes a nice change from the ubiquitious LGB girder job.

P.S. I receive no benefit from MVL in any way whatsoever

They look so good I couldn't trust myself to look at the price list :rolf::rolf::rolf:
