National Garden Railway Show 2026, pictures, videos and reactions

Accucraft UK and Model Railway Clearing House were 81, 82. - I am pretty sure I had a client bring a loco they had bought from one of the above, over to me?
Amazing Little Trains, were with the Garden Rail / Phil Parker, layout in a day promoting DCC.
Jon's People, do trade, but quite low-key. I doubt they would trade at the National, due to covering the cost of their pitch?

Confused:

Chorate is a Reading-based mixed voice chamber choir, formed in 2009 by a group of experienced singers wanting to sing, have fun and raise funds for good causes, with over £36,250 raised to date.
Whoops!

I'm game:
GSS choral society, next year?
Gilbert and Sullivan - "We run them in.." in deference to @David1226, perhaps?
Or, "The Railway runs through the middle of the house". Video by Keith Edwards.

There was a new trader at the show with a largish stall who simply piled his second hand unboxed wares mostly on top of each other with most items not having a price tag or label. He was busy with lots of peaple asking the prices Having said that he must of sold a lot from the pile as later in the afternoon the table was only one vehicle deep!

We're the bold Gendarmes

Footplate will not put some stuff (Damaged, Cheaper range, Home build, Bits that came in as part of a larger batch) on their website, Go's to shows and usually lets it go very reasonably.

Worth a look for projects and always ask what's coming in soon as get advance emails before going on site for specific requests.

A busy, but hugely enjoyable, day. The IOM stand ran well,  Mona ran for several hours, and I even got to run 'naughty corner' stock, such as No.23 and my Groudle Glen BEV and toastracks. I got to meet up with many people from here, put names to new faces and see several of 'the regulars' -you know who you are, so I won't post a list! The meeters-uppers even got 5 minutes with @PhilP, including chocolate  Suggestives Digestives.
Having shot my mouth off to @Commerlad about all the IOM riches that would be available, there were only a couple of locos and a (small) handful of bogie coaches for sale -all with quite robust prices. Just proves how wrong you can be. I picked up a couple of projects, which will no doubt appear here in due course. Then all too soon it was over, and the M1 beckoned. The car will get emptied in the morning...View attachment 355554
@Fezwig's Goods shed gets it's first public outing; note the cat stalking a seagull on the ridge tiles...

Got to meet a few of the names at last, Did not see the Loco's for sale but coaches were seen and prices were highish (Apart from a couple of pairs at £100 each)

As far as I'm concerned there's nothing naughty as long as it comes from the IOM. But was curious as to why the cat had a tail. :)

A few pics. My model of the show. I sadly didn't make video, but that hamster is really working that wheel !View attachment 355543

Based on one of these.

A few photos from Friday/yesterday, strangely enough they all seem to be IOM pics:giggle:

For those who need to know, my MNR Cleminson coach lost a teensy-weensy nut from its underside; and as the old saw goes, for want of a nail, the shoe was lost...
i.e. it was broken

Thank you for your sleuthing Mark. I want one ! And I want one now ! :inlove: :sunglasses::D Max

And who might this be Mr @Fezwig ?

An important IOM Railway Official? Or, someone nautical?
