No weeds trying to grow through the turf? Does that happen?Which is why I changed to artificial turf for my pathways. Got sick and tired of weeding my pathways after every bit of rain.

I have some artificial grass on my layout, and yes the weeks grow through, and due to the weave, can be harder to pull up!!No weeds trying to grow through the turf? Does that happen?
The turf I have is rubber backed with small drainage holes weeds came through the holes but were easy to pull out.No weeds trying to grow through the turf? Does that happen?
I can see the summer heat killing the weed seeds that manage to infiltrate the turf. Local climate makes a huge difference in results! It gets hot enough here in the summer that I could probably expect similar results. The turf I have is rubber backed with small drainage holes weeds came through the holes but were easy to pull out.
Under the old path there is weed control mat.
The weed that grew in the path were in the gravel, with the turf on it the temperature underneath in summer will be enough to kill any weed seeds left over.
Compared to what I had in some areas (weeds knee high) it is a vast improvement.
I am using the off-cuts as grass beside the lines.
I have had "turf" in an area around the swimming pool for about 3+ years no weeds and that is straight onto the soil as well it is still holding its colour no fading but it was done by professionals.
