My latest distraction, personal pan size Pizza, in G no less

G Scale indoors, O Tinplate, Micro Layouts
Country flag
My latest distraction, after reworking the portable I had a bunch of bluefoam, wood and a 21" circle just laying around, I hate that, so I thought I'd try throwing them together ...

Still mucking about with it, maybe one day I'll actually be able to take it to a show somewhere

Does this qualify as the smallest 'G' layout - as opposed to diorama?

Very ingenious

Brilliant! Even swmbo likes that.
She also says I should only eat G scale pizzas. Not sure what she means by that :impatient:

Looks Great Love It  Is the mountain made of cheese

Looks good....maybe some anchovies?

Updates to the Personal Pan Pizza
I want to finish this one up so heres the layout to date:

The last picture is the true color, some reason the camera color shifts with the flash.
The bridge is now over a small wash and I'm going to do a small town/mine at the top, just something fun.
Added ball bearing wheels to the caboose, they work so good on this kind of track now I have to replace all the other shorty car with BBs. Guess I can always sell the metal wheels to subsidize the task.

I dont think it would digest very easily :bleh:

Would get more done if it wasnt a thousand degrees here, got a 2 day repreve, temps and humidity going way back up again this weekend :@

Interesting to see the subtle geological changes in the pictures ?- can't wait to see the next development.

How's the progress on the permanently installed trolley line?

Giles, still haven't decided about traction on the indoor layout as yet. Been trying to finish up the micro pizza and clearing things out of the garage.

I'm using model ideas for the small buildings for the micro as a dry run for buildings on the larger one

Some new pics

all balsawood and a bunch of stuff from a local art shop that specializes in Mexican folk art, lots of really cool detail stuff thats perfect for large scale

How on earth do those buildings fit on the mountain? I guess the settlement must be called Vertigopolis :D

Seriously, apart from the distraction, is the trolley layout progressing at all?

Giles I haven't done anything with it but not without reason. I may be taking my Portable Layout to a show in November. So I have been preoccupied with getting it ready and getting this the mini pizza to augment the display. So the fixed layout is on hold for now.

Brilliant Victor....very cute!

I have just noticed the Beaver Appliiance Company nameboard. Must be another of the family who has travelled far afield.....
