More travels with the flip

Wow! What a great couple of shots of the Blue Bird. As a teenager, I was highly interested in Donald campbell's machine. To me the most attractive of it's kind.

Anymore shots of the dowton mini cooper "S'?..................My bruvver had one of those.................

Andy love the definition in those opening shots especially.
what camera did you use?
did it shoot in 1080HD?

Hi Don,

Its a flip mino2 720p HD camcorder. Very small cute and easy to use. Its got no real settings so if that's your thing its frustrating. As a very quick to use unobtrusive video camera and a style statement! its great.

Pity that all the range has been discontinued by Cisco.....its the biggest selling video camera too.....but if you've got an HD camera on your phone why do you need this.

I am getting better with it but my son just likes walking into shot......just see my L&B film for that. I could edit those bits out but my current laptop is a bit slow and I just want to show you guys what we've been up to!

We took the shots of the mini to make my father in law feel guilty, he has just sold/almost given one away! Not a downton but the same colour and twin carb engine!......he's got his Morris 8 2 seat tourer now.

My son Jack, just fell in love with the Bluebird. He bought a poster for his bedroom and a mug!

As the National Motor museum operate a years entry if you Gift Aid and we're only 45minutes away I think it will become a regular place to visit. However in my opinion there are some gaping holes in the collection!
A nice 2cv but no Traction or DS? for Citroen........
etc. etc.
