More on the Garratt

I have rebuilt the front tank, made a mock smoke box, added cab windows and started the very boring process of adding pin heads as rivets...

Of course the thing will fit together better once its not just a pile of parts.... just thought I would update you all. I also have a lot more detail to add. I took photos outside so it was surrounded by plasticard offcuts and the like....

Now that is coming along very nicely. With the LGB drives it should be bulletproof. With my two 'in limbo' Garratts, I changed the boiler design several times to get the right look. All I need to do is paint my locomotives and wire them, but alas, little to no motivation right now to do so. Hopefully, you will soon have a functioning model.
 
Thanks chaps, tim appreciate the encouragement. Before long I want to get it into primer and then fix it rather than resting it together. This will give a better impression of the final look. I know it isnt grade a modelling, but you have to learn somehow :-) Cheers.
