Milbrucke

Having cracked posting a thread thought it was time to start the Milbrucke and Schuppende on the site. The track went down last year so still plenty to do. The island boasts varied european stock and the worlds sole supply of fish gravel with red, white and blue seams pre-dominant. Pleased with Dickies cran conversion, too tight to pay £90 for a pola kit. This gantry is motorised! Forgot to add big thanky to James for the VTG transfers - worked a treat on that short, dare I say it, NQ train....

Looks good - I like the developing station.

You are off to a good start there, the ballast looks very convincing.

Excellent work done there, I do like the station too

Damn slugs! Added signs, lights and an automatic ticket machine to the station Saturday. The machine being a paper face on a styrene box. Despite varnish by the time I took photos at 10.30 the face had suffered from slug goo. Has anybody tried laminating or have any tips for waterproofing paper posters etc. I fancy a vending machine next.

Mmm, the Gerbera car.. Nice Choice!
Looking Good!
Phil.

Thanks Phil - more convincing than Tom Sawyer sat in the last coach. I should have asked whether anyone had any "timetables" in minature.

I printed my signage & machines onto waterproof laser paper last year and they have weathered quite well. If you PM me an email address I can send you the graphic for my timetable board. Tell me what you want on the heading instead of CSB etc and I'll edit it before sending.

Nice work Bazzer....

like it, like the goods shed a lot:thumbup:

Thanks guys - the goods shed idea came from a book on 80's diesels in Wales somewhere near Llandeilo (?) fitted well with the low relief look and a tribute to soffit board, yet again. Needs a re-roofing WITHOUT double sided tape as adhesive a complete WOFT but learning all the time. Off to add some posters to the station and maybe some slug pellets!

Thanks for those James. I sold the Stainz on but the transfers for that went to Dan this weekend as my conscience took twinge after buying his gondola for a cheap price on ebay!
Loving the detail on your Faur diesel. Hope you get nice weather if you're still planning on doing the Forest this summer.
