To all friends on the GSC, a very Merry Christmas and a safe, prosperous (that’s a contentious point) and happy New Year.
And now for a Christmas and New Year spoiler…the first pictures of the production vestibules for the Bachmann/Lilliput trams. More about them in the New Year, but there will be three basic types, hex front, round front and round front with rounded tops to windows. All are loosely based on the Puerto de Soller trams. There will also be a full front (dash and windscreen only), again with the three different fronts. They are printed in resin, which has been UV cured and should take very little fettling to fit. Doors for left and right sides will be available so you can pick and mix depending on where you are based and what side of the road you drive on. Prices to follow, but will be priced per pair, your choice of door sides. I will also be offering replacement front screens for LGB trams in White plastic. These are the same as the ones offered by Shapeways only these come direct from the original designer at a very much reduced price. Again, they will be available in pairs only.
