OK it's a bit of a longshot, looking for a replacement for failed 8414002 auto uncoupler. So if anyone knows where there may be a source of such a rare beast, would you let me know.

Not sure if it's the electronics or the motor, but if the motor appears seized.

If it's the motor I'd imagine that's something that can be found on somewhere like AliExpress, though knowing more than just the motor dimensions would be useful!
You could try asking Massoth :wasntme:? However, I have had a ticket open with them for nearly a year now, no replies since September.

If its the board... might be able to be repaired, if not then Id guess its a new coupler.

Might be worth trying James at www.gartenbahnsupplies.co.uk for some spare parts? A quick google found a brand new pair at P&S for ~£95, says they are in stock.

Are you adverse to getting some of the new style couplers?

Managed to get the last MKI pair they had from Paul at P&S Hobbies, Scarborough, phoned this morning and they may be here tomorrow.

As far as the new version, not opposed to them, but having read the online manual I carn't apparentley set them up the way I have them without the aide of a function decoder as well. Pity as they have a built in chip, but carn't be set up to work depending on loco direction, sounds odd. But my set up is with one each end, is that the rear one works depending on which direction the loco is running, both on one F setting.
