Massoth Funnies on my Piko Kamel

As I have already related, I yesterday completed installation of a Massoth eMotion XLS decoder in my Piko Kamel. It works fine with Sound in my loft with my Massoth kit. However when I tried to get it to work today in the Garden with my early LGB Parallel Set up I cannot get sound at all. I have more of these chips that work OK. In fact I recently posted a Vid on Utube of one that I converted to a Sound eMotion with no sound worries at all.

Any clues out there please?

I switched off the sound by mistake on my V52 last week. LGB fitted MTS from new.

F8 switched it back on.

Might be worth checking the easy things first....
