I run DCC. My layout has been dormant over the summer as I have been building a new engine shed / workshop. I've come to re connect my points to the Massoth decoder 815600 and nothing happens. There is power to the unit - I checked. Can anyone inform me please if I can run a test of any kind to check the decoder. It was functioning very normally. I run my DCC system from an LGB transformer and station and have a massoth hand-held blue controller. Thanks for any help .

Checked the point motors and wiring?

Especially if the layout has been dormant....

Hm could it be that the programming has been lost? Can you go to programming to see if your system sees the decoder?

Thanks. I'll give that a try . Can I see it from my controller ( Massoth Dimax Navigator - 8134801) hand-held ?

Yes you should be able to, do you know how to use programming on handset? Look at lower line of display that changes as you carry things out. One of the options is prog via Menu M3 button, note how when you press it different options appear. Look at the dimax menu 4.2 switching commands, CV reading plus programming and 5.2.7 Switch decoder programming. The use of that changeable me u via M1-M3 buttons takes some getting used to, I was always having to restart ‘M1 Menu’ till I got used to it!
