In my never ending quest for more action, I've managed to get a fork lift driver that sort of knows what he's doing. I think my young grandson could do better. Anyway here are two videos of my first attempts.

Both of 'em :(

Fixed. I don't know how that happened. Must be this new computer and i phone set-up. I was wondering why they hadn't received any views ???

I was playing with one of these Fork Lifts from a friends Grandsons Toy Box. Have to say that they do have possibilities and the Scale is not too bad. For me though they are just a bit lively, has anyone considered putting in either Diodes or Resistances on the Motor Sides of the circuit in order to 'Tame' it a bit?

Also where do you get them from?

I think I will have to pass on that as I know that I would find using the forklift so frustrating :o nice idea though ;)

It can be Gary. You need to operate it when you are calm and no one is interrupting. I found a couple of improvements that need to be made. On the surface of the flat cars I need to bevel the edges along the sides so that the forks will have less of a tendency to get caught. The one smart thing, if I may say so, that I did was to insert a 1/8" magnet into the bottom of the pallets. I also mounted a piece of sheet metal to the surface of the flat cars. This does two things, keeps the pallet on the car while in motion and also keeps the pallet from being dragged off when the fork lift reverses.
