Linz Gstadt Bahn 2

The Rugens 0-8-0 well tank loco arrived this afternoon. A few shots whilst I tested the loco. Only out for 5 minutes though as I am working at home for a few months.
Full testing on goods and passenger duties will follow in the fullness of time.

The wife of the Big Controller (no relation to Earnest the engine car) gave him a right rollocking last week after him putting her Booble car on a rail chassis.
The engineers at the LGB converted it back quick sharp.
She also had a delivery of Palmolive driven all the way from Paris and was picking it up from the station.....

A few Krauss/Stainz locos were in action yesterday. Numbers 3 & 4 are 16 years old and run a lot on the LGB. Still on their original motors and the wheels are not through to brass yet.....
