and thread the copper rails and blocs as follows and attach resisters and leds as required or lamps if prefered and hey presto one fully ajustable lighting bar

and test just to make sure that it all works it should look like this

if you use the zoom button you will see that the resitor is fitted to one rail and the center terminal and the led or lamp fits from the center to the oppersite rail

and when all is well fit the light bar to your building taking care to position the light to illuminate the area you want to see thro the window of your building

nice, neat,brillent idea mallcom:clap:

should you want any more info them pm me tis no problem ask away

Clever, I like the idea of being able to put the sources of light anywhere along the bar.

Can I ask a couple of questions, firstly what do you use to power the buildings transformer wise. Secondly do you mind telling us the LEDs and resistor values please? Might as well use your knowledge rather than take a guess :)

Tim

tim i use a seperate crest 22.0 v 13 amp tranny to power all my lighting on the pbmm leds are 12v 3mm ultra bright white run with a 1 k resistor and 12v grain of wheat lamps with a 1 k resistor

i allso use coloured leds to the same spec

like it Malcolm looks very good

It has a very good effect
