Has anyone tried to make a county donegal type railbus with a pig snout at just one end from either the double pig snout railbus or by adding a snout to the flat fronted type. There was a photo of something similar from a thread about 8 years ago. Is it easy to get lgb soare parts to get a pig snout as a spare part? Thanks

I've bought a few for possible future projects - cheapest one was £32 I think.
You may have been thinking of my Twin set that has a Snout at each end. It was an EBAY purchase from someone that it turned out I worked with previously before retiring. If you can get hold of the Snouts they are a simple screw in fit to the body. Possibly you may be able to get the bits from Champex Linden or Grootspur. Or you could get a Snouty nosed one cheep and do 2? Here are some pics of mine showing the locating holes underneath. Note for the 2 car Set I have used LGB Connectors to get all wheels picking up. Runs very well as do all of these super Railcars even when only in Single Car formation.

There was one on ebay last June . . . of which I happened to save a couple of photos (for future inspiration?). I should stress that it wasn't me that bought it (I didn't even bid in the end).
