LGB Van/Box Car wanted in any (reasonable) condition...

Hi chaps - I'm after an LGB box car in either of the body shapes below (prefer the 1st one). Livery unimportant. Box not required. Prefer all 'detail' bits to be intact, or present if broken. I plan to refurb and repaint for the EJ&KLR.

i am surprised with all your kitbash prowess you haven't got a hold of a couple China-China versions of the LGB long-carriage RhB van wagen.?? I picked one up from a dude on Ebay for $24.00 USF plus shipp.

You get what you pay for...not only a lousy livery but the margins of error are huge when it comes to the buffer beam hitting the coupler head....however with a little styrene i fixed this and it runs smooth. search "lgb compatible" on ebay it will show up. the actual china product is called "Train"...original, eh?

Garrett - thanks for the 'tip off' but it appears the shop no longer offer UK delivery. Had some very kind offers - just waiting to here back from one chap and then I'll let you know what I've sorted :)
 
James are these are any good
The brown one is very good condition unboxed £35 inc postage
The blue one is poor and has been painted but runs ok the doors dont open £15 inc post
the blue one has a knukle coupling one end but i can swap it
£45 the pair

Well fingers crossed chaps I'm sorted. Paul (minimans) has helped out with a pair and Tony hopefully should get my payment on Saturday. Great response as usual on the forum! Thanks for all the help. I'll share my plans when they all turn up :)
 
Good luck, those DR/DRG painted ones are nice. The earlier DB version is very bland by comparison.
