LGB Summer new items to be announced May the 10th

I remember the the LGB catalogue was a book. Now its a four page leaflet.....

There is still an annual catalog (Katalog) "book" of the complete current range, during the year they produce leaflets or newsletters of new items (Neuheiten) in summer and autumn.

But they seemed to have stopped providing a free digital version of the yearly catalogue. Just a paper one which of course you have to buy..

Yep. Its all rather depressing. Sad thing is, it'll probably just be old models in a different colour. Probably Swiss.

In fact that’s exactly how capitalism works. The club has its perks. I like the Depesche magazine and therefore it’s worth it to me. You get hard copies of the catalogues along with 3 videos each year, and a small layout item. It’s not like you only get the right to buy exclusive stuff.

I've never bought into the 'exclusive stuff' idea. I recall walking into a toy store in Moenchen-Gladbach where they literally had everything that LGB made on sale for anybody with the requisite mount of money. It made GaugeMaster look like a stall at a village fete.
