My model train stuff starts with N scale, then also American HO morphed into European HO. Now the N was sold and moved into Z with a layout for shows that in G scale would need 96 foot of space! We recently flooded out of our hone in storm Desmond, now back in but the whole garden was destroyed so a clean sheet which allows G scale to move outdoors.

I love large scale stuff as for many years I raced big quarter scale F1 r/c cars around Europe with the cars 36-40" long and over 12 kilos each with a real top speed of 50-65mph. Some of our tracks could be quarter of a mile in race length and the rostrum 30 foot high to stand on.
