One of the lamps on my "Otto" does not work (and has not since I bought it), so today I got "a round tuit" and had a look, The lamp seems to be at fault as it is "open curcuit" and there seems to be power to the contacts. A photo of the lamp below, and here is a LINK to the manual, the item is NOT shown but on page 8 it fits in the "split" vertical cylinder above the fire box. Please can help me where I can purchase a replacement, many thanks.

As it has a rounded end, it is in all probability a 19V bulb..
They normally come in packs of ten, but I can have a rummage when I next go in the 'shop, if you like?

Jimmy, TrainLi has both I think the are about $9.00 US for 8, but you are going to have to know the voltage either 24volts or 5volts and now both bulb look the same

There are three types of push-in bulbs used in LGB products - the rounded-end ones are either 19v (for pre-DCC-era locos) or 24v (for DCC-era types), and the low-volt (5v) ones are flat-ended.
You should be able to replace your round-ended bulb with either a 19v or 24v version , though the 19v would probably be the more appropriate one for an Otto.

There are rounded top bulbs in the American 2-4-0 20230/20232 engines that are 5 volts.

Are they the push-in type with two little wire "legs", Dan?
