LGB No 55025 swicth

les,,, hope your well,,,, steve at b2b6 has afew in his secondhand section,,,,

Dont forget the alternatives.....the Massoth 4 channel switch decoder is £54+P&P NEW from me.

muns,, are these directly interchangeable and is there any benefit in buying one of these,,,

It'll work with the LGB Central Station Les?

I believe Massoth made the ones for LGB....

Sorry Les, I should have elaborated further.

Yep it will work with an LGB MTS set up.
The 55025 was indeed made by Massoth for LGB.

In the Massoth unit, the ID of each switch output can be set individually (i.e. you can have 1, 5, 24, 3 where as the LGB unit they are consecutive - 1,2,3,4 / 5,6,7,8 / etc).
It can also drive solonoid type switch motors (3 wire) with out the need for additional components. There are also inputs that allow you to switch your points from track contacts or panel switches as well as though your handset.

Dont forget you need a 55015 universal handset to control points - the 55016 loco handset is not capable.

Mark I do have a LGB 50015 handset wireless, I assume it will contain the intructions, it make sence to buy new, I'll get back to you many thanks Les

Yes you can.

As Muns mentioned, the Massoth Unit can have each output programmed to any unused address, whereas the LGB one is in sequences of 1-4, 5-8, 9-12, etc....

You can also operate 2 points off each channel if it suits your needs (like a crossover where points face each other or both ends of a passing loop where both points are "open" or "shut" at the same time).
Exactly as I do mine Paul. Two motors wired to each channel.

I've also set the throw pulse from the default of 3 to 7 for that extra ommph....

Many thanks for your call Mark I look forward to getting the unit, many thanks for your help I won't go near your site with out Keith Regards les
