Help!
Using the LGB Universal Remote, how do I reset my 55021 decoder to 'factory' setting.
The manual says CV55 but I don't understand what it means when it says and I quote.....
6-55->
5-55->
It may be me as I've programed other CV values before, but I don't seem to understand the input for CV55.
Thanks :)

It means you have to send the value 55 to cv55 to perform the reset.

In P mode, press button 6 to set the cv you wish to change, then enter 55 followed by the arrow. Then press button 5 to set the value, followed by 55 then an arrow to send that value to the cv.

Something like that ! (I don't use LGB MTS gear, I just read the 55021 manual)

(copied from the 55021 decoder instruction leaflet, I added the bold bit)
These registers can be programmed directly using the Universal
Remote. The following registers must be programmed using the
prefix 6, then dialing the register number, then the right arrow
button, then the prefix 5, then inputting the value, then the right
arrow button.
Short:
When display shows ?P --?
Button 6
Register No. (eg. 55)
Arrow button >
Again ?P --?
Button 5
Value from range of values (eg. 55)
Arrow button >

Thanks Nick, but ....

How do I get the 'P' together with the two '- -' (hyphens)?
I assume this is with the 'Programmer Interface' attached?

ah...assumed you knew that bit as you said you've managed to program other CVs before.
At this point must pass the baton to someone who actually owns and uses MTS..... ?

hehe - just got to that bit while reading through the instructions for the Universal Remote. Got to admit, I do find the online LGB database at www.champex-linden.de very handy indeed!
