LGB Brake Hoses (and roof?)

I have a number of Austrian bogie coaches of this basic shape. . .

. . . (either purchased second-hand, or assembled from parts acquired here, there and everywhere), that lacked some of the minor detailing parts. I have managed to source some buffers (new old stock) but am struggling to find the appropriate brake hoses. Do any of you have some spare ones of the right type that I might buy? I'm looking up to eight.

The ones I need come in two different shapes but the thing they have in common is that the fixing prongs are 7mm apart, and these are separated from the vertical pipe by having a "block", to allow for the coach bodies overhanging the buffer beam. As (even a slightly fuzzy) "picture is worth a thousand words" the ones I'm looking for are above the green tick . . .

. . . while the ones I have plenty of (without that "block") are above the red cross.

Can anyone help?

PS I didn't think it would be worth asking but, if anyone has a spare roof for these coaches (forlorn hope, I'm sure!), I'd be VERY interested in hearing from you

Thanks in anticipation

David

Chances of me having the brake hoses are slim David, but I might be able to help with a roof. Will take a few days to check though.

I will be placing an order with Champex Linden in the next few days and they have several forms of brake hoses. If you look at their website champex-linden.de - LGB Ersatzteile

If there is anything else anyone needs that I do not have in stock from them let me know and I'll order them also.

Hi

Nearly, but not quite. The fixing pegs need to be round (note too that it's £3.01 per item and almost £12 for postage from Germany)

That looks better, but note that it's £3.08 per item and a whopping £24.99 for postage! Shows a lack of flexibility in their overseas postal rates.

Thanks for looking, though. My searches on ebay must have been using the wrong search terms.

All the best

David

I have found 4 of the "correct" (lower right picture) brake hoses in my box of bits if you're interested

Looks like two packs of ”CL30034 Brems-/Heizschlauch 3019/13, 4 Stück” is the cheapest option. Anyone out there got a 3019/30190 Post car to check the spacing of the mounts, mine seems to have gone into hiding. ☹️

Thanks Mark

I'd looked at Modell-land, Warenburg and Zenner. Why did I not think of Champex Linden (or your site)?

I see that they are on your site at £4.90 for 4 (exclusive of postage), but maybe that price isn't up-to-date. They are on the Champex-Linden site at 5.95 EUR for 4, or 15.95 EUR for 20.

Unless I get a positive response in the next 36 hours from anyone in the UK with "spare spares", I'd be minded to order the pack of 20 from you (as I'd be spending 11.10 Euros just to get the 8 I definitely need). Is that do-able? And how much would that cost me with postage?

Thanks for your help with this

David

EDIT: I see other responses arrived while I was typing this!

The postage has been lower at the checkout; I loaded the cart to see what it would charge and was pleasantly surprised.

7mm spacing on my 3019 as best as I can measure it with a steel rule

I hnink you''ll find the £24.99 p and p covers you up to the top of that cost range, i.e. extra items are free p and p. But that does mean you need to buy a number of items.

Obviously give David the Diamond first dibs Mike, but if you have another one or two, then I'd be interested....

Ideally, I want to order before the week is out, but can hold off to Sunday at the latest.

I have a bit of a jigsaw-puzzle..
An older Stainz, which has had a 'fall from a great height'.:(
It has come to me in a box, with a bag of bits.. It is the older split-chassis / clam-shell block, and must be part of a set? - No numbers on the bottom to help me.
Colour-scheme is the 'orange'yellow' -ish Nurmberg 150 ?Schweiger? livery, with a gold-painted smoke-box. - Loco is black.

The front-end (cylinders and motion) has come-off worst.. It needs the sections which fit the rear of the cylinders. The rods and valve-spindles which slide in these. The two vertical brackets which hold the motion 'bits' are moulded 'as-one' with a support screwed to the underside of the block.. This is broken, and appears to have motion components riveted to it? The Resonator/silencer on the front of the cab is broken, and it needs a new whistle..

I think it will be an early 4-digit model (for parts reference) and it is the metal motion components.

It would appear I do have all the bits of plastic, but we all know that it is almost impossible to repair. :(

Could someone with a copy of 'the bible' look me up a number for this loco, please?

PhilP.
