Slightly off-topic, but Massoth related..
There seem to be some gremlins about, between the firmware version for the XLS, and the soundfiles to go with them.. If you end up with strange results, it may be due to this.
There is a new version of the XXL decoder.. The XXL II decoder, ten (rather than 8Amp) capacity.. This is a new design. Sits differently, and (more importantly) a number of CV changes have been implemented. - Just when you thought you KNEW which CV did what!
A 'gotcha' seems to be CV's 51 and 56..
These would seem to take precedence over the other 'command' CV's for front and rear lights..
I need to do more experimenting with these CV values, but suffice to say, leave tem at their default values of '30', for the time being.
