LGB 55020 decoder CVs

I am trying to program an old LGB 55020 decoder - in particular, I am trying to change the max voltage to the motor.... which should be CV5.... but no matter what I program CV5 to, it still takes it up to 24 volts at the top end.

Does anyone know if maybe the 55020 didn't allow programming of CV5 ?
 
Hello:

According to the manual CV5 takes on value ranging from 0 to 127, where 127 represent full track voltage. To set maximum voltage to 5v you need to set cv5 to 27.

Hi, Thanks for the replies... I am using the 55015 Universal remote....

I do know that I need to use "P" program mode for the 55020.... I need max voltage to be 12 volts... so I will try putting 63 into CV5
 
If you are using the remote, you will need to set cv6 equal to 5 first, and the you can set cv5 equal to 63. I can email a digital copy of the 55020 user's manual, if you wish.
