LGB 51603 or LGB 2060/3 contact treadle

Hi all
I was lucky to acquire LGB 2080S Hartz and 2096S Bo Bo locomotives recently but I do not have any contact treadles to operate the bell/whistles. If anyone has any for sale or know where I could obtain some that would be great.

thank you for that, I see there are a few on USA Ebay at present. I have contacted the seller to see how much the postage is....fingers crossed it is not too high to the UK. Failing that I am sure a DIY job might do the job if the need arises.

Is it the long black plastic bar that you require that pushes against the switch under the loco?

Yes that's the one, it fits into the track sleepers I believe.

These are quite easy to convert to reed and magnet operation, just remove the manual switch and substitute a reed switch on a length of plastic tube. no rewiring required and you can easily revert back to the mechanical switch if needed.

Thank you for that infnce I get more confident with wiring up loco's etc I may just give that a go. Mean while Tim has been kind enough to supply some treadles to get me started.Thank you all for the info and help.
