I have one that I bought spares / repairs for £5, which is now a static scrapper.
They are pretty poor quality build, and as far as I know, they don't do R1 curves or points due to the wheel geometry.
I would rather put my money into a Bachmann ( and I really don't like Bachmann
) or cheap/old LGB/PIKO.

Yeah, from what I've read, you might strike lucky and get a reasonable one, but don't hold yer breath
Be aware that although it is basically a copy of the LGB model, it is far from the same standard.
Plastic wheels, quite light, a cheap RC system, blue LED lights, and a really annoying 'sound' system.
A much cheaper motor, and drive. A 7.2V (usually) NiCad battery.
There was a German(?) manufacturer, who would take your loco, and fit a better chassis.
Zenner, I believe? - Not seen them mentioned for a while, so might have stopped?
