its been along time since i last posted and allot has changed so lets start from the begining
in june 2013 i decided to have a complete overhall re desinged it from scratch the track was lifted in only 4 days and on the 5th day the re build started i have raised the railway so at one point in the garden its level yet at the slope of the garden (bottom near the house) its about 2ft high the track bed is made of cement the village area is raised with railway sleepers with 3 tone of hardcore over the 2 months its taken so far i have layed track wired track feeds every 6ft the switch decoders programed and wired up then balasted the track into place started fabricatin retaining walls and started laying the street roads and building up my village please enjoy and i am over the moon with how it looks so far.

Glad you like it Richie I did some more work on the village today sorting the roads and foot paths out getting there slowly
 
I carnt make my mind up about them Paul I loved the FGB Model not LGB lol I seen one at the auction the other month verry nice model & verry delicate but when ordered not shy of £2000. I'm thinking of getting the piko one like yourself and maybe modifying It a bit but we will wate and see gone all hartz past year with stock :D

The phone box is from back to bay 6 I cannot think of the make but the structure itself is metal I basically bit the bullet and with a terminal screwdriver you can take the phone box appart I then just fitted an led with a resistor hid the wires and fitted it back together
