Some example of installation of Massoth sound decoder to LGB C-coupler.

Very neat and tidy job!

I think that because of this very problem, someone (maybe Massoth, maybe LGB themselves) actually made a sound installation kit for this particular loco, that contains a bracket to mount the speaker.... but your scratchbuilt version certainly does the trick.

Yep, I know this kit.

But kit far away but lok and decoder are here and there strong desire to run the lok right now.

And this is way from official Massoth forum. Feel the difference.
