You can now install GSC on your mobile so you will have it as an icon on your phone rather than having to use a browser.

Goto the web site on a browser on your phone and click the menu icon (burger bar)
at the bottom you will see Install the app, click the Install button to the right of that and hey presto you have a new icon.

Easy install, no problems there.
I am still getting adverts on app though, OK on PC's as I have subscribed but on 'phone adverts keep popping up.
Probably a setting on my android 'phone I feel rather than the software, any polite suggestions will be considered...

Hi Ian,

Your ad free subscription expired 8th October last year, so i need to look into why your not getting ads shown as thats wrong.

Have to be honest, don't particularly like forum apps (though not tried this one), so I will be sticking with viewing the forum via my browser on my mobile device.
Just one question, what is the advantage of viewing via the app over viewing in a browser.

Sorry, I must have missed the reminder or something.
I tried to pay a few minutes ago and was told 'there was a problem'....
If you can identify the issue I am happy to pay for the free time since October last, PM me so we can sort it out please.

Did not work for me, but then not being tech savvy, I didn't really expect it to. Just went to another page that kept recycling, something about xerForo XFcommunity.

Push notifications, probably?

And you can get to the Forum in one click, rather than opening your browser, then going to the Forum URL.

In theory the app should be configured for a better viewing experience on a phone than the normal view via a browser.

My browser opens automatically to the GSC page, no clicking

Looks just like the computer, which is how I like it.
