Early days at a soggy Wetton with Cambrai looking brand spanking new. Glad I changed that awful ballast.

Earlier this year, the new "bed" for the WGLR mark 2.

Almost exactly a year ago. The engine shed diorama begins to take shape (the track being held down while the glue dried).

It's worrying to think I started construction about 4.5 years ago........and it still isn't finished!

Unfortunately I lost all my early stuff due to an infected hard drive.

But here's an earlyish shot from 2006 of my main station

Then two years later it had developed a bit

Then it got completely relocated and re-jigged.........

another relocation/re-jig followed.

Sadly this is how it looks now, or at least it did just before we moved.

Worrying to realise that I started over 3yrs ago and haven't got very far but domestic "issues" intervened and I was expecting to dismantle everything t for 2 of those years.

....to this but apart from sidings to the front and right, doubling the track, a link to the train shed at the top right and two child access bridges there has been little more done.
Oh, and I have eased the 'kinks' to allow the K27 to run.

Found another really early pic. I can tell it's an early one because I was still using the 1 amp controller. Basically the WGLR was all you can see at the time - just one loop with a run-round loop and a few sidings. Having said that, this section isn't really all that different today.
