I have watched this quite a few times. I think he has the whole state as his back yard!
It looks like he only has one power feed...on hell of a run

makes you wonder if a steamie would make it all the way round
very real in feel

imagine that roadbed and track gets mighty hot in full sun

It is difficult to see from the video but he does not appear to use railclamps, only standard joiners unless it is all soldered.

The expansion must be significant when the track heats up although the curves will probably help to absorb some of that. Rather like introducing right-angles into long runs of central heating pipework.

i notice though out this thread its assumed its owned by a male where as its owned by a very wealthy lady and they are unable to run during the heat of the day due to track expansion, and the locos are battery powered money is no problem
