I'm a tram enthusiast and have made trams Scale G

... my ksw trailer is not finished. (Forgot these word)
Once I saw a 4-axle tram like these.
In my dreams I always wanted a 4-axle tram. But I did not know how to build the bogies with the motors. So my idea came up to build one, like this simple drawing.
I already had one LGB tram without any running equipment. Than a tram driver gave me an other one nearly complete, also without the running things. And it was in a bad condition. Ideal fro scratch building. In that status it slept in my workshop for nearly 1 1/2 year..
Only a side panel with a new door has been made.
Later I got another LGB tram, but with a wrong motor underneath. The owner has changed a trailer into a motorcar and used a motor from the American Trolley tram. So I had a motor for my 4-axle car in stock. Than I saw the following tram on Ebay.
So I did a bid on it and won it. First of all I set up a test track, to see how it is running. Perfect! But in my eyes it was a very simple make of.
Very fast I decided to use my own made one goes back just to be only a trailer.
It had also a test run on my layout, during the event at the Wuppertaler Stadtwerke. It looks good, but not perfect. The "new" motorcar will be specified.
That means, shorten the body in the middle section, it will be an 8 windows car. The front ends will be changed. The roof has to undergo the new measurements. Normally I said, that I will finish two other projects first. But I wasn't able to resist. So I started tests with it. I dismantled all the different parts, to see, how it was made.
Than I shorten the two bodies. Brilliant, looks even much better. Than I decided to build new front end with a new window and a new door on both sides.
The new platform came to the model. Drivers control stand is temporary fixed, to stabilise the front.
That's all for today. Until the 23rd I will work on the other end. Than it has to wait. Hopefully in February I can wokr againon it.
