Hey all, moved down to Texas for work and was looking to get back into the hobby by volunteering my time, manual labor, or whatever else is needed to spread the hobby. I grew up pretty close to Charles Ro, and miss popping in there to oggle all the USA stuff and scrounge through their used cars and parts to kitbash.

Anyone have leads on clubs or stores down here? I've heard theres a Heart of Texas G scale club, but can't find any up to date contact info and their website is unregistered now.

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum, have you a name, or do we use your handle? How long have you been involved with garden railways, I know you're getting back into it, but like the Mafia, no one ever leaves! Oh just beware of the truly appalling jokes

Hi, I'm a volunteer brakeman for an actual 12-inches-to-the-foot scale railroad, austinsteamtrain.org. Pretty good place to not only rub elbows with people who do real restoration railroad work, but also a variety of model railroaders. We have a few G-scale modelers, too.

Hi there where is Charles Ro? There is a map where everybody is from. North East US... South East Canada ranks second world wide. Welcome to your new club.

Welcome to the forum Swayz? We do like names, even if they are nicknames or one you made up that is easily remembered. I sometimes go by the and answer to Dunny.

Perhaps that's the reason he's been missing, he's split his sides laughing/groaned himself to death (take your pick)
