How I converted an LGB Stainz loco to battery power - Version 2
Narrow gauge large scale model garden railway. Battery powered, radio controlled locomotives, some Bluetooth. Set in Cheshire UK in 1930sriksrailway.blogspot.com
I think your right & i am looking around for a coal tender. It looks a little tight fitting in the train & i can increase the amperage using a coal tender. Might have to be a 4 wire connector for lights.Or, you can put everything in a trail car and connect with a two pin JST plug
