Have been given an LGB 55055 transmitter, no cables or instructions. Have found instructions through the Dragon G Scale site, at www.champex-linden.de/lgb but now need to identify the cables needed as the end into the transmitter are obverse but the other ends are a mystery.

Re:Help to identify cable ends please

Hi Peter.

If you have one of those reels of grey cable (with a plug on both ends) that I gave to you, that will do the job. But not sure if it will work with your Massoth Z1200.
You may need one of these, a 8138001[style="color: #000000;"] DiMAX Adapter

Re:Help to identify cable ends please

Hullo Peter,

you just need to connect up the port marked LGB bus to a similar port on an LGB MTS Central Station for it to work? By the way, the 55055 is actually a receiver which works in tandem with the LGB 55050 transmitter that plugs into a LGB 55015/6 Universal/Loco Remote.

As Steve mentions, those grey CCTV cables he used to have work really well. I use one of them myself as an extension cable on my 55015 Universal Remote....

Steve is correct, you cannot directly connect a LGB 55055 Receiver to a DiMAX central station (there are exceptions).

You will need to use the http://www.gardenrailoutlet.co.uk/p/78/massoth-dimax-transducer < Link To 8138501 Transducer (not the 8138001 adapter) so that the LGB bus protocol is converted into the DiMAX bus protocol.

Re:Help to identify cable ends please

I must be honest with you but I am intending to sell it on e-bay, or any were I can get a decent price. As I am trying to raise money to but a heart defibrillator (app£1500) for the hospital that I had my open heart surgery at as they are very short of equipment. So I was making an effort to put together all the bits needed to operate it, I have printed off a full detailed manual, and I can now put together the cables so the next step is to value and try to sell same. I thank you both for your help again. I also have a new and unused Massoth Dimax PC Modul Number 8175101 and again this is going into my charity fund.
