Hi. I'm in the Fort Myers area and have answered a few "new FL member" threads. I was a Brit once and still run a few UK locomotives.
We have a fair number of g-scale train-ers. FGRS (http://www.fgrs.org/) has some 'meet' ideas. I've been posting (on LSC) about a couple:

http://www.largescalecentral.com/forums/topic/26655/open-house-at-riverbend-park

Personally, I live in a condo so I have no track - just a lot of small engines cluttering up the spare room. I run them at Jack's Calusa Creek in Fort Myers (which is 20 miles from where I live on the Beach.) Oh, and 1 big engine:

which runs at the TARR (Tradewinds Park track.) My other big engine is back in Maryland.

Welcome!

Hi Fred. Welcome. I'm up in NWFL, Destin area. I used to be a Brit too! Actually, they (UK) won't let you go even if you declare you've given up allegiance to 'all foreign princes'!

Welcome aboard, Fred. Seems like Florida is getting well represented this week.
