I'm Jeff from Southern NJ, USA.

Thanks for having me, always wanted a garden RR, but never had much time. I've recently retired, built a small garden pond with a waterfall, and now have picked up some LGB track.

I've had 0 gauge for many decades, (and some N) but always wanted to go outside.

Welcome, Jeff. I believe there are several garden railroads in South Jersey; there certainly were some years back. Alas, it has been too long since I spent time down there.

Hi Jeff and welcome. I've been retired 6 years now, living a life of total indolence. The secret, no children and resulting grandchild minding duties. Now that is odd! On my recent travels I picked up a Railway Modeller dated August '75 (costing 30p when sold, I was conned, I paid 50p!) On page 239, a certain F.C.File described his N Gauge layout in the garden
It also had a description of Peter Denny's Trepolpen Valley Light Railway. A line operated by the best method of all...clockwork!

Ammazing what you can find in old book shops!
I even found a reference to Paul and the CFR in a Garden Rail from June 2003!

I well remember that N gauge Garden Line, I even have that issue in my many years that I have kept when I bought the mag monthly including many index that I got direct from Peco in the day. If only that index was all easily available on line.
