Excuse me whilst I go and get Swmbo up as I all of a sudden have an idea for a day trip.
That is Victor originally along with Vulcan a sister engine started steam working on the West Somerset Railway, both came from the Austin Factory at Longbridge and are quite different from the other engine an Austerity both having outside cylinders and valve gear whereas the Austerity has all them bits hidden between the frames. We had Victor at the West Somerset gala this year doing a think a 50 years celebration since the line opened.
