are ebay prices for LGB equivalently high in the UK?
i am really surpised at how expensive LGB things are on ebay here in the US
 
Judging by current more typical ebay prices you could buy 3 or 4 of them for that price. Wonder where the seller got the idea it's worth that much? Are they that scarce "down under"?

I have four. Will accept offers over £1,200 for the lot. Buyer to pay postage. Or is that just wishful thinking?
 
Not sure but bay models had one for over two hundred soves yesterday when i called in, in fact at that price they may still have it today:rolf::rolf:
 
In Oz they are not that scarce but G scale is generally expensive.
Usually the maximum recommended retail price.

John's was a slip of the finger but there's a shop on ebay where the postage is so steep you need crampons and a rope to reach the top. The last four letters of attitude should give a clue. Might be cheaper within the UK (mainland) though:rolf::rolf::rolf:
