Just taken delivery of a GE44111 S/H. The pantographs wern't working properly. On closer inspection found the pin that engaged the operating slide was missing so I thought solder it back on.Well that didn't work. So out came the blow lamp.
just on a low light!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Don't do it. It is very similar to white metal. It just ran away.

I think a phonre call to Sven is called for. :-[ :o :(
 
Come on Phil, you carn't leave it like that, we at least need a picture. :P

It's ages since I have a good laugh at someone else's expense, seriously though, your face must have been a picture, when it melted, ill deserved bad luck.
