G scale in France

This line, and details of the kitbashing needed to produce the more-French-than-German looking rolling stock has been a long-running occasional series in Voie Libre, the French narrow gauge modelling magazine (an off-shoot of Loco Revue). This magazine can be found on sale in this country, and comes with an English translation. Think it's published every other month.

i love his work-first saw it in gorgeous garden railways-
between the sunken trackage, the pissoire, and the great photography-it was above almost all others
details, scale, yet not the overwhelming flood that sometimes some super detailed models can have

this thread was superb with the links-
and on his page at the bottom theres a video link to his rail car which i think is perhaps the most convinceing with sounds etc that ive seen

the details are great-clearly a knowledgable railroad fan, yet a sense of humor as he loads giant plums in his trains

he is such a good modeler that i get a strong sense of french railways although i know so little about them

Oh, French wit. It only has two stages, the first being slapstick, but the second (and I have to admit the Germans are incredibly good at this too) is just so, so subtle you have to think thrice.
Don't you just love national stereotypes? Ze Inklish? Ha!
