A bit late, but better than never...A much overdue update on the G Scale Garden Railway.
Over the summer months plenty of work has happen on the new extension. The new route has been dug, underlay laid, points added and the track put in place. Surprising, once the track was in place, it was found there was enough room to fit in an extra little siding for storage, which will prove very handy for running sessions.
In this update we also take a look at how I lay my track, as well as witnessing the first ever train to travel around the new extension.
Hope you enjoy!

Nicely laid, barely a wobble as the loco passed over the tracks. I hope it keeps that level when you fill in the ballast! :)

Thanks ever so much. Oh yes, nearly all filled in now and still level. Very pleased with how it's all trued out so far
