arrived here via a Mr Beeching intervention in my career. The Nulabor Plane . and Perth WA I originated in Yorkshire until
made redundant in the beeching era , Moved to OZ , spent 20 years as a Loco driver pulling trains across the Nulabor .Took early retirement and moved to Perth for another 20 years were I became involved in large scale model railways . I have always been into model railways, but fell in love, when Bachmann introduced their 2-8-0 conny in F scale.
Since then I have collected anything that runs on 45mm track My latest is 7/8th scale I acquired a live steam quarry Hunstet and a Fairymead and enough rolling stock kits to run a would by, could by, railway on the on the West Coast
of Tasmania. Now all I have to do is flatten my back yard and build it.
Hope to meet You All if only on line .
Later Ron.

Welcome Ron - and we hope to hear(and see) more of your forthcoming railway empire!

No I haven't opened the bottle - don't know what went wrong there. Logged off and back in again - still no reply showing - so I did this one. Then all the others popped up. A bit like waiting for a bus really I suppose.

Welcome aboard. What a desirable career you have had.

welcome,
trains, stout and live steam

....I like you already.....!!!!

Welcome aboard, Ron. Good job you're not modelling the Nulabor - you'd need a very long garden.

Welcome to the forum Ron....

Welcome Ron, a non flattened yard may make for interesting gradients

Thank you folks, for your kind welcome.
I will try to post As I build , as I run so many different scales. I have 3 main rules
no buildings. no less than 10ft radius curves no less than No 6 points. I will have
to see what I can do without to much landscaping.
Later Ron.
