Real shame, I'd been looking for one of these earlier this year and if you'd been selling yours then I'd have snatched your hand off, Steve.... but I found a virtually NOS one on evilBay and bought that, a bit cheaper but not chipped.
Good luck on the sale, it's a good price and as I found when I was hunting for one, there aren't THAT many green ones available (far more of the blue "Nikki and Frank" ones, it seems), it'll be a nice buy for someone.....

you do finance steve? ;)
Would match my blue one lovely..

'snot steam....................:(

tac

Steve, my apologies for a very brief thread hi-jacking, hope you won't object too much....
Tac - if you're actually looking for a live steam Aster/LGB Frank S in green, then I think that Simon at ANG and GRS both have examples in stock at the moment - and from a quick look at the show yesterday, GRS's one has the aftermarket gas tank conversion (a new gas tank in the left hand side tank, replacing the temperamental tender-mounted original). Going rate for a decent one is the thick end of a grand, but (especially with the tank conversion) they are lovely and docile runners.

Sorry again for the deviation, back to the original subject now.....

Also had a rather nice LGB tram lok digi sound

Is it a Massoth chip?

Dunno came the reply

Customer service at it best I walked away and put away the plastic

And there was a what I thought a tatty one on GRS (I think)

Yes, that one at GRS did look well used and a bit rough around the edges, but it did have the big advantage of the converted gas tank. The pictured one in your other post still has the original tank in the tender, but unusually it appears to have had the pressure gauge relocated from the cab roof (under the rubber cover) to the cab side window.

Sorry Steve, we're still a bit off-topic on your sales thread, maybe one of the mods could shift this discussion off onto a thread of its own....?

Jon.
